In a groundbreaking move towards enhancing Qatar's education landscape, a significant partnership has been forged between the Public Works 'Ashghal' and Urbacon Trading and Contracting Company. This partnership, in accordance with Law No. (12) of 2022 on Regulating Partnership between Public and Private Sectors, issued by H.H. the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, signals a pivotal moment in the country's journey towards educational excellence. The signing ceremony, graced by esteemed dignitaries including H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Qassim Al-Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and H.E. Buthaina Bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, marked the commencement of the construction of the second package of the Qatar Schools Development Programme. This ambitious endeavor, encompassing 14 schools, epitomizes Qatar's commitment to fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors for sustainable development.

Aligned with the Third National Development Strategy 2030-2024 and Qatar National Vision 2030, the project aims to bolster the private sector's involvement across various economic domains, thereby propelling the nation towards its long-term aspirations. Ashghal's proactive role in overseeing the construction of the first package of eight schools through Public-Private Partnerships underscores the significance of leveraging such partnerships for infrastructure development and service provision.

Moreover, the project underscores a holistic approach to facility design, incorporating state-of-the-art educational amenities such as laboratories, sports facilities, libraries, and outdoor spaces. Notably, adherence to sustainability standards, safety protocols, and provisions for individuals with special needs underscore the project's commitment to inclusivity and quality.
